Vietnam Updates Entry Requirements: Mandatory Pre-Arrival Form from July 1, 2026

Vietnam's Immigration Department has implemented a mandatory pre-arrival form (Arrival Card) system for all tourists entering Vietnam via international airports starting July 1, 2026. The system is currently operational in Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc. The form is free and must be filled within 72 hours before arrival. Citizens of visa-exempt countries (Kazakhstan, Russia, etc.) should select 'Bilateral Exemption' in the visa information section. The form generates a QR code that must be presented at passport control upon arrival.
