What this catalogue is
Our catalogue of places and businesses is compiled by the editorial team from public sources and from our own visits. A listing appearing in the catalogue does not mean a partnership, sponsorship or advertising relationship with the business, unless a placement is explicitly labelled as sponsored.
Claiming a listing
If you are the owner or an authorised representative of a listed business, you can claim your listing by contacting us through an official channel of the business (such as its listed phone number, website or verified social-media account), as described in our Content & Takedown Policy. Once a claim is verified, you can correct factual details (such as opening hours, phone number or menu) and provide your own photos, provided you confirm you hold the necessary rights to them.
Claiming a listing does not give you control over editorial assessments, shields, awards or ranking.
Corrections
Anyone — not only the business owner — can report a factual error using our Content & Takedown Policy. Corrections are reviewed by our editorial team before publication.
Removal
Removal requests are handled under the grounds set out in our Content & Takedown Policy. Being included in a public reference directory of businesses is not, by itself, a ground for removal.
Editorial shields and awards
Some places carry an editorial shield, one of three tiers: "Nearo Pick" (reliably excellent, editor-endorsed), "Exceptional" (worth crossing town for), or "Nha Trang Icon" (best in the city). A place may also carry one or more named category awards (for example "Best Seafood", "Best Street Food", "Best Coffee", "Best Rooftop", "Best Romantic", "Best Sports Bar", "Best Hotel" or "Best Brunch") or a "Best Value" award. This list may change as the award catalogue is edited.
Shields and awards reflect our own subjective editorial judgement, generally following a visit or review by our team, under criteria such as food or service quality, consistency and atmosphere published alongside each award where shown.
These shields and awards are not sold, are not influenced by advertising or sponsorship, are not statements of objective fact, and may change or be withdrawn at any time as our assessment is updated.
"Highly rated" badge
A "highly rated" indicator is applied automatically, not by editorial judgement, to places with a Google rating of at least 4.5 out of 5 and at least 1,000 Google reviews as of a recorded snapshot date. It reflects publicly available third-party rating data, not our own opinion.
Review summaries
Where we show a summary of publicly available reviews, it is produced by automated analysis and written as a general, attributed summary (for example, "visitors often mention...") rather than a quotation or a statement of fact by us about the business.
Sponsored placements
If sponsored or paid placements are introduced in the future, they will be clearly labelled as such and will not affect editorial shields, awards or the compilation of the catalogue.
