Vietnam Introduces Mandatory Electronic Arrival Card Starting June 22, 2026

Vietnam's government announces mandatory electronic Arrival Card (e-card) for all international tourists starting June 22, 2026. Forms can be filed 72 hours before arrival; a QR code is generated and must be presented at passport control.

Starting June 22, 2026, all tourists arriving in Vietnam through international airports must complete an electronic Arrival Card. The form can be filled no earlier than 72 hours before entry at https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/. After submission, the system generates a QR code that must be saved on a phone or printed and presented during passport control. Early completion is recommended to avoid delays during immigration procedures.
