Vietnam introduces new fines for vape/IQOS use and related activities effective May 15, 2026. Using vape/IQOS/e-cigarettes: 3–5 million VND fine. Allowing smoking of these products in private/commercial spaces (home, apartment, bar, café, hotel): 5–10 million VND fine. Devices, liquids, and cartridges are subject to confiscation and destruction. Since January 1, 2025, import, storage, transport, sale, and use of vapes, IQOS, cartridges, and hookah have been prohibited. At borders, such items are confiscated. Based on Decree 90/2026/NĐ-CP.
