Starlink Officially Launches in Vietnam

Starlink satellite internet is now available for order and connection in Vietnam. Order intake began on August 13, 2026. For residential use, the tariff starts from approximately 1.13 million VND per month, with equipment costing around 8.66 million VND. The service is operating as a pilot program until the end of 2030, with permission to connect up to 600,000 terminals nationwide. Starlink is primarily intended for areas with difficult fiber-optic infrastructure, unstable mobile internet, mountains, rural areas, islands, and remote locations. The service will also be used as a backup for natural disasters and damage to ground networks.
